This version of the site contains no affiliate links, no advertising, and no sponsored content. No company has paid for placement or reviewed any content before publication.
How future recommendations will work
- Recommendations will be added only after research, and each page containing affiliate links will say so near the links.
- Affiliate links will be marked in the page code as sponsored, as search engines request.
- Commission rates will not decide what is recommended or in what order.
- Outage.info will not publish invented test results, fake reviews, or claims of hands-on testing that did not happen.
- The calculator and methodology will stay free and will not be changed to favor any product.
Possible future digital product
Outage.info may also offer a small paid household outage-planning product. If it does, it will be clearly identified as an Outage.info product wherever it is mentioned.
